Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance
On September 3, 2025, China held a grand military parade in Tiananmen Square to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. This event held profound significance for all Chinese people. All departments of Shine Machinery organized employees to watch the live broadcast.
The parade was structured into four main segments:
Raising the national flag and singing the national anthem.
A speech by President Xi Jinping.
President Xi Jinping inspecting the troops.
The march-past of the reviewed troops.
Lasting approximately 70 minutes, the parade involved 45 contingents. The reviewed troops paraded in the following order: airborne flag-guarding formation, foot formations, battle standard formation, equipment formation, and air formation. All displayed weaponry was domestically developed in China, with multiple new types of weapons making their debut.
The military equipment showcased was particularly striking, including representatives from seven major combat groups: land combat, maritime combat, air defense and anti-missile, information operations, unmanned combat, logistics and support, and strategic strike. These new combat units, systems, and concepts have charted a course for future asymmetric warfare and achieved notable progress.
This parade carried extraordinary meaning. First, it helped the public understand history, reminding the world that peace was hard-won and paying tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Second, it demonstrated the modernization of China’s military equipment and its capability to safeguard national stability. Third, it signaled to the world that China remains committed to upholding the post-war order, supports global affairs, and stands as a cornerstone in maintaining regional and global peace.
The parade welcomed participants from diverse fields, including Hung Hsiu-chu, representing compatriots from Taiwan. This underscored that the victory of the war was a collective effort of the entire Chinese nation. Additionally, foreign leaders in attendance included those from the DPRK, Russia, Belarus, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Nepal, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Serbia, Slovakia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Maldives, Iran, Congo (Brazzaville), and Zimbabwe. Beyond the 26 heads of state, there were also government officials from many countries and friends from 14 countries and regions—including U.S. veterans of the Flying Tigers, former Soviet military advisors who aided China, and French journalists and diplomats who once spoke out for justice during China’s time of aggression. These heroes, or their descendants, were invited to Beijing to attend the parade. This act not only expressed gratitude but also upheld the spirit of internationalism and advanced the great practice of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
As a modern participant in international trade, Shine Machinery remains committed to keeping in mind the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping. We strive to build a people-oriented, credibility-first, quality-outstanding, and trustworthy international enterprise, leaving an indelible mark for “Chinese quality,” “Made in China,” and “Created in China” worldwide.
